“not very happy”

We were there for a hockey tournament, my son needed his sleep as he had 3 very important games. We were right off the lobby so it was loud to begin with. Sat at midnight the desk attendant admitted SHE set off the fire alarm by mistake, it rang continuously for 20 minutes. People gathered outside our room until 1245 Am. No one was at front desk totell people it was a false alarm. No one knew if we should evacuate or not. I voiced my complaint with the girl the next morning at 5 am as we were never able to go back to sleep, she said a manager would handle any compensation for a night without sleep that we had paid for. We checked out at 10 am, still no manager. I have worked in customer service for 25 years. This accident (because they do happen) was handled very poorly. We should have been compensated for our lack of a nights sleep. Will not return.
