We are a very safe hotel and follow procedures for guests that may be causing issues within or around the hotel to resolve them immediately. With having city wide events, hotels may encounter guests of all different walks of life. I was incredibly disappointed with our stay. When we checked in, the desk personnel knew that the boiler was not working and that there was NO HOT WATER but did not inform us of this! I would not have stayed there if I knew there was NO HOT WATER! Thank you for staying with us while in Madison. We apologize for the inconveinence of not having adequate hot water while you were here. We encountered a large last minute problem with both of our hot water boilers failing on us at the same time. As this is not a common issue, we should not have this problem going forward. We hope you were able to enjoy the other amenites of the hotel such as our complimentary breakfast with a make your own waffle station, complimentary wifi, as well as our business center that is available to all of our guests. We also hope we were easy to find with us being only blocks away from HWY 51 and I-90/94, we are right off East Washing Ave, 10 minutes away from downtown. We hope you will give us a second chance the next time you are in Madison. « hide

Thank you for choosing us for your lodging while you were in Madison! We are glad you were able to find our location convenient with so many stores and restaurants within walking distance. We apologize for the inadequate hot water while you were here. We had both of our hot water boilers go out on us and had to wait two days for delivery and installation from the professionals. We are also very sorry you were not able to enjoy the great complimentary breakfast we have. Our breakfast hours are from 6am-9am Monday-Friday and 7am-10am Saturday and Sunday. We will bring this to our staff to make sure we are on top of replenishing our breakfast with busy event weekends as well as the housekeeping issues. Thank you for choosing us as your lodging hotel while you were in Madison! We are glad to hear you had a great stay enjoying the location of the hotel as well as our accomodations. With us being just off of East Washington Ave (HWY 151) and a few short blocks from HWY 51 and I-90/94, we are also only 10 minutes away from the downtown area close to the Alliant Energy Center, Monona Terrace, and Camp Randall. While the room & bathroom were clean & had no odor, the room looked a little dated. The bathroom is small with a toilet about 3/4 of standard size apparently so the bathroom door will close. The sink was outside the bathroom without hardly any counter space. Thankfully, there is plenty of water pressure. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were small. The room desk is narrow but big enough for a laptop. The WiFi worked very well & was free, unlike some pricier places I have stayed that charged extra for in-room WiFi. The inside of this hotel needs to be renovated & updated. But, at least it is clean. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Fortunately, there are plenty of places to eat within a 2 block walk - Outback, Olive Garden, Culver's(great hamburgers), and the Easttown Mall which has a food court with the usual food options.Thank you for staying with us while you were in Madison! We are happy to hear you were able to enjoy all of our amenities including the complimentary breakfast and wifi. We strive to be a clean, convenient, and affordable hotel. With us being only blocks away from I-90/94, HWY 51, and East Washington Ave just behind us, we hope you were able to find us ok.
