“my experience at baymont inn”

I did have a good experience when I called to make the reservation. Upon check in the clerk was very nice. Then the room had a faulty phone so he switched me to a different room. That room's bathoom still had trash on the floor under the counter the tub had stains and stuff stuck on it and the door to the bathroom was sticky. the phone and the tv remote were also sticky. The airconditioner did not work properly and would not cool the room.The the worst thing was when i came in at the end of a very long day from work late at night and the toilet was not flushing right, I called the front desk and he said I had to go downstairs myself and get the plunger and fix the toilet myself. Otherwise I was told I had to wait I had to wait till the next morning about 9.00am when the maintenace gets in. I asked what am I supposed to do until then but they said those were my choices.I found that most unbelievable!!!!I did go downstairs and got the plunger and worked with it for about a half an hour and could not fix it. I called again and explained that I could not fix the toilet and I needed to use the bathroom and it was getting super late and I had to get up at 4.30 AM to get ready for work again. So finally the clerk came up and fixed it.Next time I will pay more and stay at a nice place. I am from California and I have never seen anything like that here.
