“A little overpriced.”

  , Mentor
I stayed for two nights after New Years, and I arrived a little before 3 and no rooms were ready. That's alright because check-in does start at three. The room looked clean, but upon a closer look there were several stray hairs-which didn't belong to me. The linens were also a little worn down and could have been nicer for a $100 hotel stay. The complimentary breakfast was a little skimpy, and the seat surface in the hot tub was uncomfortable. The location was also a little far away from any convenience stores-the closest is a Walmart almost 15 minutes away-but it was very quiet, at least the first night. The "workout room" consisted of only two machines in a very small, closet-like room. On our second day while we were waiting for housekeeping to finish our room, we waited down in the lobby and overheard the desk clerk in a pretty heated argument with a customer, which doesn't speak to a "hometown hospitality". Overall, nothing was terrible about the stay, but I believe it is very overpriced for the the location and amenities provided. I've stayed in a super 8 or days inn that were about as nice.
