“Disappointing”

When we checked into the hotel, the clerk procedded the reservation without asking if we wanted to use the same credit card that was used to make the reservation. We intended to use a different card. When we told the clerk, he said..."Oooops, I already processed it with the other card." He switched cards in their system, however it put a "hold" for a weeks stay on the other card. It took a call to my bank and a fax from the hotel manager to get it released.Upon entering the room, we went to place items in the refrigerator. It was filthy and had bugs in it. The manager came to clean it. It didn't matter though as we later found out that the refrigerator was not cooling properly anyway. We had to keep our perishables in our cooler anyway to avoid spoilage.My wife walked across the carpet in her white socks in the morning. The bottom of her socks were BLACK. The carpet was THAT dirty.
