“Nice staff, not so nice experience”

The staff was helpful and nice, however the hotel is rundown and the elevator was sketchy. The room was mostly clean but the security bolt had been ripped apart and the room was stuffy and smelled funny. The air conditioning sort of helped, but not really. The worst part of our experience was a group who was staying on some "special arrangement" The rap music in the parking lot went on until well after midnight every night and the "party" started every morning 9ish and went on for hours. Multiple complaints accomplished nothing. The "special guests" were so unruly inside and out that I used a door nowhere near my room to access the hotel because I felt so unsafe. At check out the manager apologized and said "it's impossible to control guest behavior." Having traveled with hockey teams for years and knowing that the entire team could be evicted for the bad behavior of one person, I know that's just not true. I lost work time and business because of the noise and all I was "comped" was a $1.25 Ramen cup because the gal checking us out and the gal allowed to take cash were not the same person. My advice...skip this place. It needs a makeover and new management big time.
