“Stay here if you like to polar swim”

We planned our stay at this hotel because it had an indoor pool. We had small children and thought it would be nice to take them swimming but couldn't because the pool water was very cold. There was no room in the hot tub because all the other guests children were in there because the pool water was to cold for swimming. We asked the desk clerk to turn on the heater and they said they couldn't. No clean pool towels.The rooms are very narrow and the bathroom is very small ( a little bigger than an airplane bathroom). Room furniture was stained and carpeting was filthy. TV has limited channels and very old.Breakfast was average but when items were gone they were not replenished and staff was not cooperative to restock breakfast items. I was surprised because I have stayed at other hotels in the Wyndham chain and have been very pleased. This was my first time staying at a Baymont Inn and probably my last.
