“Needs work”

  , Fort Worth
We stayed for two days. The hotel is quite dated and not very clean. There was a grapefruit-sized sticky patch on the landing in the stairwell both days we were there. There was mold growing in most of the bathtub caulking. The room air conditioner went out on the second day. Unfortunately, the manager on duty did not have any spare parts, so he had to replace the entire unit - twice. He left quite a mess of dust and bugs on the bed closest to where the repairs were done. When we turned the heat on in the evening, it blasted dust and burning smell throughout the room setting off the smoke alarm. If there is an elevator, it wasn't working. And get used to ringing the bell at the front desk for service, because that is apparently the only way to get someone to the front desk. I was amused by the AAA plaque proudly displayed in the lobby. On the plus side, the beds were decent (even if the sheets didn't exactly fit) and breakfast was better than expected.
