“Hidden Manager”

We had an issue with another guest breaking the mirror on our vehicle trying to park to close to us. We knew what vehicle it was went to the front desk. The desk clerk was very nice but did not know what to do. She went to her Manager who would not come out to the desk to speak with me. The clerk made several trips back and forth between the Manager's office and myself to try to get my questions answered. The Manager refused to give me any information on how to follow through on a claim with the Hotel's insurance, or to contact the guest to obtain their insurance info. I was told that the only way the Hotel would do anything is if I called the police and they FORCED the hotel. All of this info was passed on to me from the poor desk clerk because the Manager would not come out of their office. The clerk did sympathize with us and did give us a free future stay if we would consider a return visit.Our room was adequate but could use refurbishing. A non-smoking room with cigarette burns in carpet, on headboard, on bathtub........
