“well....”

This was a great price- but left us wanting to really help this hotel make some major changes to keep business coming back. We booked ahead of time with confirmation and were told upon arrival that we only had one room and at a higher rate...even when we had the confirmation in hand. It was eventually resolved. The rooms were great and spacious- but not on the clean side. There wasnt any soap in the wash area or bathroom.We went for breakfast at 9:20 and there were a couple of cold eggs left and no sausage- nothing was refilled. The choices were slim and the area was messy. When the four of my kids came down for breakfast at 9:45- everything was picked up and put away. We had to go and buy them breakfast somewhere else- (one reason why we chose this hotel was for the breakfast)The pool temperature was nice-pool does need a few repairs The hotel was grossly understaffed. over 2 days we saw 4 employees who work 12 hour shifts- 2 at a time.When we checked out the older couple was extremely nice- and made us wish we could say a bunch of nice things about this hotel. One idea- might be have another staff just for the breakfast area- to clean and keep things hot and filled.
