“Items Left Behind & Hard Towels”

Upon arrival, we paid for our stay and got a key. It was 1am and we had been on the road for five hours. I recently had back surgery and so I have a special pillow I carry. We had been coming to Marshall to tend to our Mother who is 89 years old and has dementia. We in the process of moving her to Austin, were we live. In haste, I left behind two items, my charge cord (electrical) for my cell phone and a specialty pillow that cost over $65, covered in a navy blue pillow cover. When I called back a day or so later, they could not find the pillow but found the cell phone cord. In addition, to this disappointment in the staff there, I had to deal with awfully hard towel when I washed my face in the morning and reached for a towel then scraped my face or at least it felt hard enough that I had to look in the mirror to see if the towel left a mark. They were hard as a rock. Like they washed them by hand and hung them out to dry. I'm sure such a hotel would not do that without some fabric softener or something. I was very disappointed in my stay there. Oh yeah, we never found the remote control to the television, so our channel selection were limited to just eight stations, if that. I'm very disappointed.
