“Had some challenges on my next visit.”

  , Austin
Biggest complain, maintenance and cleanliness, particularly air quality and carpet smell. I arrived last Sunday evening, on May 5th, and the 1st room I got was dingy and actually had stains on the walls. The carpet smelled mildewed but I was so tired I did not care, I just wanted to go to sleep. But, I had food with me that needed to be refrigerated and the fridge didn't work and the room smelled like decomposing flesh the instant that I opened it. So, I got a second room... but that was a problem, the toilet seat AND the desk chair was broken, and the closet was too small for me to put my hanging garments in. So the 2nd night they moved me to 201, which was big, but it had a problem with the AC and you had to either keep it freezing, or it would get hot. It also smelled like vomit in the hallway as soon as you opened the door. I was disappointed because I liked the proximity of my hotel to the office, just across the street, but I'm going back to Marriott now for just a few dollars more per night. Another MAJOR problem was the hard water, it actually smelled bad and made my skin itch.
