“Really bad”

  , Grand Prairie
I've never been more angry about a hotel stay. To start from the beginning, we were scolded by the lady in charge of the hotel the day we arrived. There was construction outside of the hotel lobby and there was no sign telling we could not enter through there. Than we go to our room to shower and the water is only cold. Than we leave and come back. That's when our key didn't work. So we went to the lobby and they gave us a new key. It still didn't work. 4 keys later the lady told us she would come up and see the problem. Than we look down stairs and she is helping the cleaning lady. She finally came to our room with master keys that still didn't work. Than she leaves and comes back with a key that belonged to a lady named Belinda that was recently fired. Her key worked after 2 hours of waiting. She than tells us that if we wanted to enter our room we had to go down to the lobby and ask for Belinda's key. The next day we left our room and came back. We went to the lobby and now there's an older man in charge. He came to our room with Belinda's key and it didn't work. So now he leaves for a very long time and keeps making new keys as well. After that didn't work he tries every master key they own. Still didn't work. He than scans the door and tries to jimmy the door with the card. After that didn't work he looks at the window and leaves. My nephew than wiggles the window and to our surprise it opens. We than have to send him through the window to open it. We finally go in our room in shock that it should have not been unlocked. Than we're told that while the maintenance man was fixing the door the next morning we had to be there. We had plans and that was not one of them. So we moved our things to our friends room while we were out. We came back and demanded a new room. In my opinion our hotel stay should have been free. We were told that we had to talk to corporate. Because of our experience I will never stay at the Baymont in Grand Prairie Texas. In fact I want nothing to do with that chain
