“The worst stay I've ever had at a Baymont”

The whole experience was bad from the beginning. Walked in to check in and the desk clerk was standing outside smoking. There was a sign on the desk that said the attendant had been called away and would be back shortly. The sign was never taken down the two days we staid there. I stood at the desk for over ten minutes to be waited on before he came in. I asked for a roll away bed for my son and he told me they didn't have one, even though I asked when I made the reservations. After telling him this he said wait a minute and dissapeared. A few minutes later he rolled by with a dilapidated roll away bed and said he would be right back. When we finally got in the room it was dirty. The kitchen sink had scum and some type of white powder all over it. There was a 35 gallon trash can in the kitchen and food was stuck to the wall behind it.We had two towels in the room, so we called down and asked for some additional and was told they were out of towels.The next morning we went down for breakfast, and I went to get orange juice out of the dispenser. When I went to fill my glass an ugly brown liquid came out of the machine.When we came back to the hotel one of the beds was made but the room hadn't been cleaned, and all of the towels were taken and not replaced. This was a non smoiking room and there was a cigarette wrapper laying on the floor that had been dropped by the staff. When I asked housekeeping about it, the lady told me that another employee had been called away on an emergency and probably didn't finish. Again we asked for extra towels and she told us that they were out and the general manager was going to purchase some. We waited in the lobby for the room to be cleaned, and even after all that it was not. The carpet had not been vacumed, and the trash had not been taken out.
