“No towels & poor night desk service”

We stayed 1 night at the hotel in Galveston. We arrived in Galveston and had trouble finding the hotel since it sits back off the main road (Seawall). I tried calling the hotel - 3 times and held forever waiting for someone to answer. No one ever did...we finally found it on our own. When we walked in the lobby, no one was in there except the desk clerk. I mentioned that we had been driving around trying to find the hotel and that I even called and he just laughed.We went to our room for the night. The next morning, I got up to take a shower and realized there was not even one towel in the room. We were so tired the night before we hadn't noticed. I called the front desk and the clerk was so surprised that there were no towels. She actually said are you sure and really? I ask her if someone could bring towels to us and she said that I would have to come get them as she was the only one there. I could not believe that I was going to have to get dressed and go get them. Before I could, she called back to the room and brought them to me. She really apologized and told me that she would make a note of it.Also, when you 1st walked in the room, there was a smell of urine. I don't know if it was from the bathroom or the carpet.Will we stay here again??? I am not sure. This was our 1st experience at a Baymont Inn & Suites. I was disappointed as I was expecting more since it is a part of the Wyndam hotel family.
