“Dirty, stinky and unsafe”

You walk in and immediately smell smoke. Even thought the rooms are no smoking clearly people smoke. My floor and room stunk! It was dirty. The carpet was dirty, the bathroom had cigarette burns on the counter and it was hot and humid. The bed was actually 2 twins put together and it wasn't secured in the middle so when you laid on one side it popped up in the middle. The door leading into the hotel from the outside had a key device but wasn't working so it was wide open to anyone. My room had a sliding door to the balcony which was so badly damaged it didn't close all the way. It stayed open about 1 inch and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get it to move either way. The fridge in my room was spray painted white and you could tell it was not done by a professional. The view from my room was of the end of the pool and what I am guessing was the pool room. It was a separate building. I had a perfect view of the roof. It had rocks and all sorts of debris on top of it including a book someone had tossed up there that had been there for a while due to its weathering. All in all I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I walked down after being in my room for 15 minutes and gave them the keys and told them to refund my money. After being assured someone will contact me, no one did. I finally called and they said too bad. SI have disputed this charge on my credit card. Be aware of these shady people. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay.Also, the gentlemen working the desk upon check in seemed to know very little about his job. I don't know if he was new or just inept but he was the only one working in the hotel the entire 15-30 mins. I was there before I decided to leave.
