“Disappointed”

Emily was quite courteous and promptly got me assigned to my room.The first thing I noticed when I got out of the elevator on my floor was the heavy stench of cigarette smoke right in front of the room door that is in the elevator alcove. The second day, the stench was gone, so evidently that individual (in that room) either departed or stopped smoking. The first thing I noticed in my room was the lack of adequate air conditioning. It was hot and stuffy in the room. I turned on the AC unit and had to turn the thermostat all the way to the coldest setting before it would kick on. It rattled and squealed the entire time I stayed in my room.The second thing I noticed in my room was a lack of hot water. I had warm water at the sink and cool (I wouldn't call it warm) water in the shower.Breakfast was very good. I love biscuits and gravy, there was no sausage in the gravy (I'm assuming this is in deference to those individuals who cannot or will not eat pork - not a problem for me). I had to tear up a piece of sausage on top of my biscuits before I poured the gravy on.
