“Multiple issues”

The air conditioner didn't work in our room. There were no other rooms available, but the manager sent a repairman to fix it. The second room had issues with the card reader....it didn't work. Again, another repair person. Not exactly how we wanted to spend our first evening in Austin. The card reader never did work, so my parents were moved to another room across the hall. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn't doing its job. They had no rooms for us. We asked for a fan. Not the best situation, but it helped. I can understand an occasional issue, but no one wants to have a repair person in their room when you're on vacation. It's just not acceptable. Both managers that we dealt with tried their best to make things work for us, but really, it spoiled our trip to have to deal with these issues.
