“Bad Management equals Filth and Neglect”

Hallway carpet stained, tub cracked,peeling. spout pointing up, smoke detector in TV cabinet drawer, little security-door to pool disabled and gates to pool as well anyone can walk in. Great difficulty booking for group Perry wanted me to send cash or check for entire stay for all rooms--red flag! Empolyees smoke in pool area next to door-smoke comes back into hall and large ashtray next to door smells as the door is always ajar due to disrepair.Trash from papers, cups and cigarette butts to old mattresses and bow springs abound in rear and sige parking lots. Cigarette butts and candy wrapper type trash around all entrances except main entrance. Keys to rooms were constant hassle with several of our group having to have them "recharged". One doorlock required many multiple attempts (20-25+) to gain entry to the room. Some room walls smuged and dirty-desk and table tops sticky. I have stayed here many times prior to my mom passing and was amazed how down hill and neglected it has become. I was embarrassed to have brought my friends there. As a business owner for over 40 years, unless Perry is very new and brought in to "save" this hotel, he should be fired and replaced. He is poor with customers on the phone as is his lady assistant who seems related to him, wife perhaps.
