“Not what is advertised”

I go to hotels because what they say they have. This hotel advertise certain things, but do not have them. First, I needed Internet. It is advertise, but it was not available. I called the front desk, and was told it has not been working for weeks. So figure I will watch some TV, like HBO, since it was advertise. I was also told that the service was cancel months ago. Since I brought cold items with me, I wanted to use the Fridge, and of course that did not work. it was unplug when I got into the room, and it did not even turned on when I plugged it in. The only reason I gave this hotel a "2" because at the breakfast was ok. They did not blow that. I asked for a discount since I could not use the items I wanted, and was blown off. She chuckle and said we cannot do that. I will not stay there again. Also, I asked for a non-smoking room, and there was an ashtray in the room. The whole floor smelled like smoke.
