“Good for the price”

The room came with a working mini-fridge, wifi and a microwave. There was a breakfast room downstairs included (cereal, oatmeal, bananas/apples, waffle machine, OJ, yogurt, pastries). The room was clean and serviced everyday. We were in Chicago for our daughter's graduation so we had our car. Depending upon trafffic it was 30 to 40 minutes by car from downtown Chicago. This hotel suited my needs exactly. I went to the front desk and asked for more towels and they happily provided. This is a working class hotel, lots of families - with little ones, wedding parties, old people tour groups and as long as your expectations aren't unrealistic they will attempt to meet them. A couple negatives. One is the amount of cleaner they use in the halls and stairways. It was overpowering and I wouldn't spend any extra seconds in the stairways if you could help it but the elevator worked so we usually avoided the stairs. The second is the coffee both in the breakfast bar and in the room. It tasted like burnt water. Really. I was in the Army for 20 years and I had to pour this coffee out down the drain. If you have a car I would recommend this hotel. I didn't need or use the shuttle so I can't directly comment on that service but I did overhear a conversation with another guest and they appeared accommodating.
