“Booked my 1 King NS Room a month in advance. When I...”

Booked my 1 King NS Room a month in advance. When I arrived, they did not have my reservation and did not have any King rooms available. Instead I was given a 1 Queen NS Room at the same price. The woman at the counter told me I had to call Baymont to cancel my online reservation. I asked if they would be able to cancel my last reservation as it was one of those "can NOT cancel"-type rooms and she said absolutely. Not particularly happy about that, but we were tired and agreed. Called the number and they said they could absolutely NOT cancel the room, meaning I was being double-charged for a downgrade. The guy working the counter in the morning took care of me and ended up transferring the payment over to the online-reserved room. With that being said, our room was nice enough to sleep in and props to the guy in the morning who saved the way I thought about the hotel...but we still stayed in a different hotel on the way back through Rolla a few days later.
