“Stayed at worse, Stayed at better”

The hotel was very clean. We loved the picture about prayer. We understood they were remodeling, but it was in the 40's-50's in the morning and night which is very cold to have windows open to the indoor pool. We would have been better off swimming in the outdoor pool. There wasn't much difference. My husband went to the front desk and asked them why they had the windows open and asked them if they could close them, and the woman told him they could not close it because they had been painting. I understand they are trying to make the hotel better by remodeling, but making it uncomfortable for current guests isn't the route to take. Also, when we went to the pool there were no towels. So my husband opened a door that said employees only and asked a woman in there if we could have some towels. She said yes, and 15 minutes minutes later we got tired of waiting and decided to leave. She finally came in with them. By that time I was steaming. Working people only get a week or two off a year and just want to relax. Unfortunately we didn't get to do that. We stayed at Baymont because it is a Wyndam Hotel and I get points for staying through my company. But, I don't think we will be back to this particular Baymont Inn. The only thing they have going for them is the location and the cleanliness. Hopefully once they are done remodeling, it will be more pleasant. Also, charging for ice?? That's insane. Some things just need to be changed.
