“Customer Service needs improvement”

I have stayed at Baymont Inns before and never had a problem. So I was surprisedwhen service was below par. First, when I called the hotel to recomfirming my reservation I was put on hold and know one ever came back on line. I had to call again and she put me on hold again even after I told her what happen the first time I called.The first night I tried to called the front desk and the phone rang for over 20 mins.I tried calling back numerous times and finally someone answers. If for somereason they are short staffed maybe the owners should hire more people. Thehotel could give better service and also help the economy. The second daywe had a wakeup call request and they never called us. Luckily we woke up and hadto rush to make our appointment. That night we went to take showers but wehad no washing cloths or hand towels. We had to go get them. And of course noone was at the front desk. Eventually someone showed up and was able to findwhat I needed. The hotel was recommended by our relatives who had stayed there.Iam not sure what has happened since they stayed but unless service is improvedI would not stay at this location again when visiting Nashville.
