“nice stay with one kink”

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during the memorial day weekend. Duyring the 2 nights that the hotel was sold out, everything at the hotel was efficient, clean and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is extremely quiet for being on the highway. The breakfast on our checkout day was a disaster. It's ironic that the hotel was not sold out on Sunday night so less people were there on Monday morning. At 9am, everything was out of stock in the breakfast area. Front desk clerk was no where to be found. Finally she stocked a few random things while a line of 20 people were waiting (some not so patiently) for food. A housekeeper came by to restock several things. Not only was there no coffee, no breakfast items, no fruit, no waffle mix, no plates/napkins, the trash cans were overflowing too. There are only 4 tables in the breakfast area which is too few for a hotel this size. I was not aware that dogs were allowed at the hotel. If your children are afraid of dogs like mine are, beware! Dogs should NOT be allowed in the breakfast and pool areas! Health hazards! Helpful advice to the hotel -- the laminate floors in your lobby and breakfast area are way too slippery. I saw 2 children fall from their chairs and a couple of adults slip and wobble. For safety purposes, this needs to be addressed because those floors are a lawsuit waiting to happen.
