“So good but so bad!”

I stay at this hotel 1-2 times per month a day or two each time. Plus's clean rooms, cheap rates. Negatives well where to start... don't be in a rush to get into your room because I've spent 30 minutes walking back and forth because the machine they use at the front desk can not program the key cards properly. Finally got in my room and come to find out that the air conditioning did not work and had to go through the entire key mess again to get another room. You would think that the air conditioning issue is just "one of those things" that happens every now and then. Well the next trip (my latest stay there) I spent the night sweating in my bed because the air conditioning in a different room that I got barely worked and they did not have any other rooms available. If you get an upstairs room in the summer just know that Willows is usually hot, like 90F plus hot. I guess they are trying to save money because the upstairs hallway is not air conditioned so if it's 90 outside it's 90 in the hallway (so be prepared to lug your bags through that). As housekeeping often turns off the a/c in the rooms to save money, if you are upstairs your room is also 90f+ when you get into it so hope your a/c works! Forget your toothpaste and think you can just call the front desk because they should have some for you. Not here, they just "ran out" (guess it is too difficult to stock supplies for your guests). I could go on and on about the little irritating stuff that I've run into here like some rooms have blow driers but some do not. The rooms all have coffee makers but then you wake up in the morning only to find out that housekeeping forgot to stock your room with coffee, Need to get into the building from the parking lot and you will find out that several of the doors that you need to go though to get into the building can't be opened from the outside because the card readers don't work so you end up walking 1/2 way around the building to get in and it goes on and on and on.... At the end of the day it's a clean hotel, the staff tries but they can only work with what they have. Staying there 1-2 times per month I've probably spent 15 or so nights here in the last 5 months and while it is an economical place to stay I'm really starting to question if it is worth dealing with the hassle every single time just to save a few bucks!
