“very disappointed”

My family has lived in the whitewater, wi area for 10 years. I have stayed at this hotel numerous time over the years. I was soooo disappointed with how this hotel has gone downhill since it became a baymont. When it was AmericInn it was always clean and never had any problems, I can not say the same anymore. I consider less dumpy than the only other hotel in town, but I still consider it to be a dump. It was Thanksgiving night and I was with my family most of the day, then I came to hotel and went shopping. Got back around midnight and I decided to go to the computer instead of going to Kmart 15 mins away, and thought this was more convenient. The computer was slow as molasses and it took me 2 hours to put 10 items in my cart, then just before I went to check out on the website the computer went down. I lost all my black Friday deals. It is now about 2Am and I asked the guy on duty if he could help and he said he would try to reset it. Big surprise it didn't work. I got up left and was pissed that I lost my deals and wasted 2 hours. Then I realize once I had got into my room how dirty it was. Large red stain on the carpet. There was a big white stain on the computer chair that was a little gross. The bathroom floor was dirty and you could see scumb buid up the beds were so uncomfortable and to make matter worse my TV remote was not in the room. i turned it on manually and it was stuck on a crappy channel and blaring loud. I go get a remote from the desk (it is now 230AM), and get back and surprise it did not work. But guess what? The guy who couldn't reset the internet was sitting on the computer and he was online,hmmmmm. I told him I wasn't happy with my dirty room and the TV remote didn't work and I packed all my stuff and asked for a different room. He said he had no way to do this and gave me another remote and said try this one, it should work. It did work but I was not happy!!! It is now 3am. I worked in the hotel biz, and travel biz for 20 years and I know damn well they no how to switch rooms if you are unsatisfied. I paid for my room and my mother in laws room and her room was at least clean and the remote worked for her. By paying $200 on both rooms, I was extremely dissappointed. Oh yeah, one more thing, the rooms smelled!
