“Not too happy.”

We phoned the hotel to see if they would match Expedia's rate and were told if we wanted the lower rate we would have to book it on the internet so we booked two rooms about a week in advance. When we got to the hotel we were told that they could only find the confirmation for the other couple that we were traveling with. The two rooms were booked on our Visa and we had the printed confirmation with us and showed it to the clerk. We were told it wasn't showing up in the system, it showed that the two rooms had been booked but because the confirmation number wasn't in the system we couldn't get the room without it. We asked why we couldn't have the room if we had the printed confirmation and were told she would have to phone Expedia and get the confirmation number. After a 45 minute wait the clerk finally got the information and we got our room. We still don't understand why there couldn't have a room given to us and then call Expedia to get it straightened out. Because of this we will not stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites in Bellingham (or any other Baymont for that matter) again and will never book through Expedia again either! The bed was so hard, the only thing enjoyable about our stay was the breakfast.
