“The first time for me.”

This was the first time in my traveling experiences that there were no light blankets on the beds. Under the bed spread cover, there were no blankets, just the two sheets.A trip to the front desk found the clerk unfamiliar with what I meant by a blanket, so he came to the room to see for himself. I told him there was no way I was going to cover up with the cover spread, as it surely was not an item that was laundered everyday like the bed sheet would be.He did go out of his way to provide two more sheets for me to use as a blanket. That was better than nothing.This room offered a desk and adjustible chair , upon sitting on the chair, it colapsed to it's lowest point,and would not stay at anyother higher position.It was a chilly November night for someone from Florida, and an attempt to turn on the room heater uas of no help, it would only blow regular air.The bathtub walls could use a simple spray of bleach to remove some mold spots. They are not to nice to look at while taking a shower. I would never take a hot bath in that tub.All in all I was disappointed with the room. I always had the thought in mind that BaymontInns were a little more up scale. THe outside of the building, interior lobby,and halls were very nice, BUT IT IS THE ROOM CONDITION THAT REALY COUNTS!For the price,and if you can overlook some of the above, it was an OK place for one night.I would stop again, but I would check the room more closely the next time.TO the corporate housekeeping:What sense doed it make to place clean pillow cases on the pillows, then cover them with the seldom cleaned bed cover? In my opionion, the pillows should be covered by the second bed sheet, to separate the clean pillow from the not to clean top cover.Strangley enough, all motels do this same dirty deed.
