“Terrible experience, will never stay at a Baymont Inn ever again!”

I called to cancel one of my nights stay because we only needed to be in the area for one night instead of 2. When I called, "Angel" who was the receptionist, threatened to contact their corporate attorneys and sue me if I canceled Friday night. She told me I had to cancel 30 days in advance and when I asked for manager/supervisor she told me there was no one there "in charge". I asked for a number of anyone in a supervisory role and she would not give me any information. I called the customer service number listed on the webpage and I was told I had until 6:00 PM the the night before we were supposed to check in to cancel so they were able to switch my reservation. Angel added the day back to my stay without my knowledge and authorized my credit card without my knowledge. After arguing with her that doing this without my knowledge is fraudulent she finally canceled the one night of our stay. When we checked in she was at the front desk and was cursing from behind the desk and there were guests there in the lobby and many of them had children with them as well. She has no idea of what professionalism is and is extremely unfriendly and disrespectful The hallway that our room was in had dirty towels in front of a lot of the rooms and I just felt like the hotel was dirty because of that. The actual room was fairly clean, but the rest of the hotel was terrible. We paid $100 to stay there and this hotel is much more like a $50/night hotel.
