“Great value HORRIBLE location!!!!”; Jan 02, 2013 Rebecca M, Strasburg; This motel is in a area that used to be very upscale, but is now infested with, homeless, drug dealers, and prostitutes. The motel itself wasn't awful, but wasnt great either. I used a discount site and only paid $25. I wouldn't have wanted to pay much more. Yes they have a free breakfast but it leaves a lot to be desired. It looked like a highschool football team hit it before I got there. There was no cereal, no bread, the oranges were very old, there was 1 pack of oatmeal. The only thing that there really was, was waffle mix, but even then there was only 2 packs of butter and almost out of syrup. There is a very nice Lobby/Breakfast area, but the morning staff seemed like they were not interested in working and more interested in "hanging out". The night desk clerk however was EXTREMELY NICE, she wont be there long though because she will be on maternity leave :(. The rooms are very outdated, but relatively clean, The edges of rooms could use swept better and the room could use a thourough cleaning, but for $25 I didn't expect much. The bedding was dingy but clean. My biggest thing was there were hardly any outlets, which was bad for me because I needed them for my dialysis machine. This is a great place if all you plan on doing is sleeping for a night then leaving in the morning, but wouldn't stay more than that. DON'T GO OUTSIDE ALONE AFTER DARK!!! We were accosted right by the front door by a pan handler, you could see very unsavory characters walking close by. The staff and fellow travellers told us not to take any money and only 1 cigarette outside and to stand right at the door if we felt like we had to smoke.
