“Great, for the most part”

We only stayed one night. Our room was very comfortable and everything went well. We had a suite with a hot tub and king sized bed, and it was absolutely perfect. It was a great hotel and located near a lot of neat shops. The only thing bringing the review down is some of the staff that worked there. One gentleman was very, very friendly and made us feel welcomed--he was great. If all the staff would have acted the way he did there would have been nothing wrong with the trip. However, both the woman I spoke to on the phone prior to the trip and the woman working at the front desk were very unfriendly and made me feel like I wasn't welcomed there. I'm technically a minor (Have to be 21 to get a room.. I'm 20) but they said they allowed minors to stay as long as I filled out a form, blah blah blah. I was perfectly okay with this, but they still acted annoyed that I was there even though I posed no problem whatsoever. My boyfriend and I were in Hocking Hills for the weekend and just needed a place to stay for the night.. it's not like we were doing anything wrong. I just feel like, as paying customers, we should have been treated warmly and fairly just as any other guest would have. But other than the rude staff, our trip was fantastic and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone.
