“I will probably choose not to stay at another Baymont...”

I will probably choose not to stay at another Baymont Hotel. I was not impressed with the uncleanliness of the room. It looked clean, but the bathroom was not as clean as one should be. I was also not impressed with the way that the Night Manager treated my sister-in-law and her family. They had a confirmation letter from the Baymont, I read through it, saying that they had two rooms. When they arrived to check in after the wedding we were attending in Omaha, they were told that there was no reservation for them. The Manager was very rude and not willing to find them a room somewhere else. I feel that the overbooking of rooms is not the customers fault but the fault of the Hotel. I feel that our family members were treated very poorly. I have worked in customer service for quite a few years and it was always taught to us that we make our customers happy. It was my son who went over to the Ramada Inn next door and was able to get them two rooms. At first, Ramada, wanted to charge regular price for the rooms but then they said that they would honor the price that we were paying at the Baymont. I hope that you would continue to teach your staff that the customer always comes first. If it were not for the customer, you would not have a reason to have a business. I wish that my experience had been better, as we do a lot of traveling, but we have never had this type of rudeness. As I tell you this, my family was not the only customers that were treated this way. There was also one or two more customers that came in around the same time and they were also told that there was no reservation for them either.
