“Got what I paid for”

I booked my room online, thought i got a great deal as the day I booked the room, they were offering a 25% discount. I asked for a 2 dble bed room, non-smoking with inside access. When we checked in, the front desk staff didn't have a paper to show where my room was located..just pointed and said it's that way....we got an outside access room that STUNK bad. there was a dead bug on the bed, cob webbs on the ceiling. Seemed as though the room hadn't been stayed in for quite some time. But... I figured I only paid $55 for the room so i got what I paid for......After we left to eat dinner for the evening, we came back to our room to order a Movie. We were unable to rent a movie and the guy at the front desk asked us if we wanted to change rooms and offered $5 off the room rate - way to bend over backwards.Anyways, we switched rooms, got an inside room this time which was much better. didn't stink and appeared clean..but the Movie thing still didn't work. The beds were uncomfortable though. My back still hurts over a week later. -- but nothing is quite like my bed at home.The next morning when we went to have breakfast, the front desk attendant was also preparing breakfast (seemed a little under staffed). The food seemed fresh but they were out of almost everything they had to offer. things needed to be replenished. this was at 830 am.upon checking out, the guy asked if I wanted a receipt. I said yes. I also reminded him that I was to get a $5 discount. He messed around on the computer a bit and asked me if I booked my room online. I said yes, he told me I would have to contact the number on my conformation to have it changed. --- the number on my comformation was the same number as the hotel..... I just left it be without my $5 as it seemed like too big of a hassle for $5.00. I would choose a different hotel next time. Obviously I got what I paid for but wow!!!.
