“Wonderful Staff”

I had a coupon that needed to be printed for the hotel to accept it, so when I called the desk, the clerk said she would be happy to print the coupon for me if I could email it to her. As we were traveling across the state, I had not way to print it myself, so this was a big help! The room was clean and nice, the cover did fall off the A/C unit, but we were able to sort of put it back where it belonged. The desk clerk offered to move us to another room, but we choose not to move. The unit worked, just the cover was loose. When we went to bed we discovered the dead bolt on the door did not work because the strike plate was missing a screw. We could have changed rooms, but we were tired and used the back up lock on the door. When we told the morning desk clerk, she was concerned we hadn't changed rooms, but we told her, we were tired and didn't even mention it to the night clerk. She discounted the already reduced rate we had to make up for the problems we had in the room. We were very happy with the staff, the carpet in the hallway was in need of cleaning, the breakfast appeared a bit sparse, but they did have all the items the other Baymonts have, it just looked like there was less of them. We would definitely stay again, just check the door lock earlier in the evening. The response of the staff is what made all the difference for us and why we would be happy to stay again.
