“We live here in El Reno, so there was never a need to stay...”

We live here in El Reno, so there was never a need to stay here. We've had visiting family stay here and say it was nice. The reason for this visit was an emergency for my mother. She is elderly and recovering from a broken pelvis. Christmas Eve, our coldest day of the year, her heater went out. She stayed at our house for a couple of days,but, could not get any rest or warmth. Our house is older and draftier. She has to be very warm with her medical conditions. In order to make my mom more comfortable we decided on trying a motel room. The check in clerk was very understanding and helpful. We got a handicapped room which was very clean and comfortable. The only things I could complain about are.... It was very difficult to keep the room comfortable as far as temperature goes. Hot-cold-hot-cold...couldn't adjust the temperature very well at all. The only other issue she had, was that maybe if they had some more comfortable seating in some of the rooms, especially the handicapped rooms. It was very difficult for her to sit on the bed for 2 1/2 days. If they just had some recliners available upon request for those in medical need..... Overall.. she/we were pleased.
