“A towel for every guest in the room is too much to ask, I guess”

Upon check in, I noted that there were only 3 bath towels and 0 washcloths in the room. I tried calling the front desk to ask that some be sent up and the phone was busy. So I walked down to the front desk and was told that they were still in the dryer and they would be brought up. Great. We left for the evening. Upon our return 4 hours later, the towels were still missing. I walked down AGAIN to the front desk to ask about getting a towel and some washcloths for the 4 people in our room. I was not pleased and don't think I should've even had to ask once, let alone twice for a full set of towels in our room. The coffee at the continental breakfast was the worst coffee I've ever tasted.
