The guy at the front desk was not customer orinted. After I prepaid for a room using Price Line which should have given me the option to choose between a King room or 2 double beds instead when I went to the hotel, the representative Alex wanted to charge me $20/night to change from a King room to 2 double beds. I have never heard of this in my life. This was terrible customer service and a way for them to collect additional fees. I asked to speak to a manager but she (Kandae I believe) wasn't available. I found out later that she was not only the manager but the owner of Baymont. Her name was listed as the manager on duty but she was never available. We spent almost 2 hours to get this resolved and still Alex was trying to blame Priceline and Priceline was saying it's the hotel's discretion to change room type. Please be aware when you book hotels on priceline to ensure you have the option to select your room type. Again, I have never had this problem before because usually you can change from a King to 2 double beds or from 2 double beds to a King size bed. They have lost me as a customer for life. I will never stay at another Baymont Inn and Suites again. This was terrible service, they wasted my time, and threw my entire day off.
