“Poor Service”

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Baymont. We booked our wedding hotel rooms with the hotel after reading the many great reviews the hotel has received. We later found that many of our guests' rooms were lost or not booked correctly. They tried to bill them at the regular rate instead of the wedding rate. Most of the staff was helpful but there were an unfortunate few that ruined it. They had HORRIBLE customer service. It is completely understandable to be frustrated with a guest who may have incorrect information but it is NEVER okay to be downright rude when you are working in a customer service business. We had sent our parents to check in to our (my husband and I) wedding night room and they were told that the room was missing. We later found out that our parents had been looking under the wrong name but the way it was handled was just wrong. Even when I went to apologize for the confusion, I was treated with a flippant attitude. On top of the many room mistakes, the shuttle bus for our reception was over an hour and fifteen minutes late and, again, we were treated with a nasty attitude. Considering our wedding party probably had half of the rooms in the hotel, we could have been treated much nicer. Fortunately, the rooms were clean and nice but altogether, the experience was just not up to par. Disappointing after reading the many great reviews.
