Given your experience, I must agree that this is not our best, and I assure you we will do better! In an effort to be environmentally friendly, we do leave the heat on it's lowest setting in the guests' rooms while they are vacant, and I apologize sincerely that it was not comfortable upon your arrival. While we are extremely proud of our hardworking housekeeping staff, there is always room for improvement, and I will be working personally with each and every team member to ensure that no future guest has a subpar experience. After reviewing your comment about the hallways and carpeted public areas I had them all professionally steam cleaned last week. I'm glad the complimentary breakfast was a bright spot in your stay. On a personal note, as I was the clerk serving breakfast the morning of your stay, I would like to thank you very much for the compliment. I sincerely regret that you did not find the appearance of your room satisfactory. We have been undergoing the long process of remodeling since 2008, and are very near the end. The most recent upgrade has been to replace all the furniture in the guest rooms, brand new high definition flat screen TVs, beds and headboards and much more modern decor. I think if you were to return you would find the hotel has a far more sophisticated and luxurious ambiance. We hope you will give us another chance to change your mind. « hide
