“Poor Service”

Our stay started out poor and did not improve from there. We had two rooms reserved on the ground floor because we had handicapped people in our party. We arrived to be told that they only had one ground floor room and one up-stairs room, in a hotel with no elevator. Our credit card was also over charged because they "automatically" charged our reserving card even though they said that we could choose to pay differently when we got there which is what we had planned to do, thus causing over $300 of ours to be held in limbo between the hotel and our credit union that we needed for food and gas for our visit. After a frustrating check-in, we went to our room to discover the roll-away bed we requested (and thought we had paid for) was not there. Turns out we would have to pan an extra $60 now if we still wanted it, on top of a $350 room to start with. The second night of our stay included free pizza (which use to be one pizza per room), but come to find out it now meant that its a first-come first-served pizza dinner that we arrived to in just enough time to get some of the cheese that was stuck to the cardboard and a few stray pieces to feed 5 adults. On the third day of our stay I was changing clothes in our hotel room when housekeeping stopped by. They knocked three times, all of which I responded with a LOUD "DO NOT COME IN!" only to be walked in on anyway by the housekeeper in my birthday suit. Finally, Even though check out is not until Noon, our keys locked us out of the hotel while trying to load up our cars at 10am. All-in-all, we will be looking to stay in another hotel next year. Sad, because this was the fifth year in a row we had stayed at the Baymont, and each year it has been getting progressively worse.
