“An aweful experience in every way”

For starters we found out we were on the second floor and they didn't have an elevator. Next we found our room was above a 24 hour pool where the hotel lets people take coolers of alcohol in the pool area and be as obnoxious as possible. Our room had a balcony over the pool with a sliding glass door that wouldn't close properly so we heard everything. Needless to say we couldn't get any sleep the two nights we stayed there.Add to that the maids never cleaned our rooms even after complaining. Management would not control people partying in the hotel with doors propped open in hotel rooms with people running through the halls drunk.On top of all that our room was filthy. Carpet was dirty and stained. Bed was sunken and uncomfortable. What appeared to be toilet paper stuck to the ceiling. We explained all of the above to the person at the lobby and all they did was apologized. No offer for compensation was made other than possibly giving us a voucher for a free stay in the future. As if that would happen.
