“Why did we stay here???”

We checked in about 6 p.m. At 6:30 we let the front desk know we had no bath towels and were told we would have to come to the desk to pick them up. I went to the desk and followed the attendant to the laundry area where I waited and waited. A while later she came out, handed me a threadbare towel, said she had them in the dryer and would bring one up to me when they were done. At 8:30 I called down again thinking she was busy and I could run down (again) and get one. Oh no, she said, "they aren't done. I'll bring one up when they are!" My husband went down to the desk at 8:45 and was told the same thing. At 9:05 we finally got ONE towel. The floor was also quite spotty and dirty. We had to wear socks to keep our feet clean. The sheet and matress pad rolled up under my husband so he had trouble sleeping!I can't believe the curt attitude of the evening attendant. It was certainly a bad experience, not to be repeated!
