“Please read for fair assessment”

I have stayed at this location numerous times and this has been my only negative experience, but it was really bad. I brought my family on a family trip for the family to see our new baby. We paid extra for a king suite and that is where it went sideways. The hotel allowed a construction crew into the room below us at 7:30 in the morning running saws, pounding, and well doing construction work. They jerked the kids and my wife awake and just made for a hellacious day. I had to call down and tell, not ask the front desk to stop the crew, that is after we put up with it for 15 minutes. We chose the hotel for the pool and hot tub, since I have stayed there before I knew that had nice facilities. They did not tell us when we made the reservation that the Hot tub was not working, on and on and on. The final straw for me and why I am writing this is that I had to fight the front desk to even get them to agree there was a problem. They offered me a "discount" if I would check back when we left, but I was so mad I didn't even bother. The stay should have been refunded not a "discount" of an unknown amount offered.
