“The Worse Hotel Manager EVER!!!”

My stay at the Georgetown, SC Baymont Hotel was the absolute worse. I am a 46 year old male and I've stayed at many hotels in my lifetime. I've stayed in low budget to 5 star resorts but, my stay at the Baymont was terrible. Let me begin by saying it was my wedding weekend and it began at check-in. Prior to me booking myself a room and a few others for out of town guests I contracted a special rate for 68$ a night.I also purchased 4 rooms for $79.00 a night through We had many guests attending our wedding and the hotel was completely booked. Some guests did not receive the special rate which was not a problem because the associates on duty (Curtis & Samantha) were very accommodating. They both made sure the guests received the rates the hotel promised. It wasn't until the next morning when the manager arrived that our troubles began. We started our day (me and my Bride) early around 8:00am by taking a trip to the local barber shop and nail salon. When we returned to the hotel we were informed that the rooms paid for via and another that was paid for in cash the night before were NOT paid for. So we ( the bride and groom) and another guest needed to make a payment or vacate because she needed to fill those rooms for paying guests. This was told to us by Christy Amamm , the Manager. We explained to her that we had indeed paid for the rooms but she continued to argue with us . Our wedding was @ 3pm and we argued with her until 1:30pm. The manager went as far as to call the associate from the night before (Curtis) and have him come in from home to verify that we did indeed pay. It was only a few short minutes that had went by before Curtis showed her proof of payment not only for the room paid for in cash but, also the rooms purchased via Due to Christy Amamm's non- accommodating spirit, me and my bride were both late to our own wedding. NO APOLOGY from the manager, NO Thank you for filling the hotel with guests, no complimentary room or anything that said," hey I made a mistake." I even stayed an extra day until Monday the 1st of July and upon checking out the manager still had a bad attitude and offered no sympathy for almost ruining our wedding day. Thanks Christy Amamm. U SUCK!
