“dissappointed this time....we stay often... usually no problems”

We stayed April 5 through the 7th 2013. Friday the 5th, when we checked in, the clerk was in back eating, and while I know they are entitled to food, I had to tap my foot to get his attention after waiting for a bit and then did not receive a copy of our bill. That night we received a call after 11pm questioning if we paid by cash or credit card. It woke everyone up (us and our two children) after which no-one was able to go back to sleep. After discussing it with the clerk Saturday, he said that the computer rebooted and he needed to check to make sure that no-one was double charged. I am not sure why this matter could not have waited until am.. He then said that there was nothing he could do to compensate/discount the stay since we had made reservations through Wyndhahm and received a discount already. As a result of this I was stuck Saturday in the room most of the day with a migraine from no sleep and was unable to enjoy my family or the facility that we paid good money to stay at. On the morning of checkout the house keepers were continously hounding us everytime we left the room to see if we were going to check out yet... we checked out at 11am, at which time I spoke to the clerk who was on and shared our experience, she stated that the cash drawer had been off that Friday night and that was the reason for the call after 11pm. We stay there often and have not had problems in the past, but this time was a real disappointment. She was nice enough to give us a copy of our bill though
