“Stay away”

Facility was ok, staff was useless and incompetent. Checked in and there was trash in the hall, that was still there when I checked out. The room was a smoker, I asked for non. The sheets had burn holes. the TV remote was broken. the carpet was sticky, the bathroom had used washcloths in it. I brought all of this to the front desk's attention and the onsite person said, "We are sold out you will have to confront my manger in the morning." When I checked in, this same person, stopped the check-in process because she had a call from her manager. I asked her to call her manager as I thought it was not right for Baymont to rent a room that had all of these problems. The onsite person said, "Well you tell her that!" The manager said she was sorry, but the hotel was full and could not move me. I rented two rooms and offered to shower in the other room, but did not want to have to pay for a room that was not functional. She said since it was prepaid through Priceline there was nothing she could do about a refund. But, she could have the hotel staff let me into another room that had a broken lock to shower. She did offer a free night on my next stay, and took my email information. I have not seen any correspondence yet. As I then handed the phone to the onsite person, who then received instructions regarding the alternate shower arrangement. As that conversation ended, the onsite person commented, "Boy, can she talk." There were other guests complaining at the same time. One tour group had guest woken up and moved. Then they were not allowed access to there items in the previous room until the next morning. The management at this Hotel is non existent.
