“Terrible Hotel”

The room smelled of dog, smoke and mold. My husband noticed the a/c unit was leaking, which made the rug wet. There were no tissues in the tissue box, the only toilet paper was the 1/2 roll which was left on the holder. No extra roll. There were only 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 face cloth. Only 1 tiny bar of hotel soap was provided. There were stains all over the rug. The room was a handicapped room (although we did not need this type of room). I don't think the shower had been cleaned in months. If a handicapped person sat on the seat in the shower they would have slipped right off, falling to the floor.. The seat was scumy and dirty!! Two of the lights did not work. There was no pen or pad in the room. The t/v had only 1 viable channel. Not even basic cable/dish channels, and the picture quality was poor. There was even food left in the fridge. No quality check was made of this room, for incoming guests, they knew we were coming, we had reservations. I called the desk and a very nice girl came to the room and sprayed lysol!! That's it.. Had we not been driving for 10 hours and dead tired we would have ran out of there. I complained again in the morning, I was given a small discount.. I feel I should have been refunded the entire charge. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. No, I don't think I will be staying at any Baymont Inn again.
