“Not up to par”; Feb 27, 2013 C. M M, Washington; I have stayed at Baymont on the past and have been reasonably satisfied. This stay however was not a good one. The room needed maintenance and repairs to the sink, tub and bathroom door. Our bed sheets had small tears in them and there was a stain on the comforter of one of them. In addition, there weren't enough towels in the room and when we requested more, we were told we would have to take pool towels. The pool towels we got were more like hand towels and felt like sandpaper. I was the last of three to take a shower and ran out of hot water. Mind you, none of us took a "long" shower. Finally, we didn't even bother to eat breakfast at the hotel on day two. We came down an hour before the breakfast was taken off on day one. There was a very poor selection - even for a contenental breakfast and both milk and juice were out. The location is fine although it sits next to a "hustler" retail store. Location alone takes away from "family friendly". It is conveniently located near several restaurants and is only a few miles from downtown and some of Lexingtons great attractions. I would strongly recommend some maintenance and updating of the property.
