“Never again”

I stayed in this hotel in the fall of 2008 when I was moving to Lawrence. It was raining and I had a toddler and a newborn by myself checking in. I unloaded by belongings on to the cart and began rolling it in, I was struggling and the manager stood there and watched and offered no help. They were remodeling as well and the entrance and first floor were kinda mess. After that I never recommended this hotel for the four years I lived in Lawrence. Fast forward to May of 2013. In an unseasonable snow I found myself checking out. It felt quite familiar. I had to a loaded rolling cart with luggage for a family of 6 and a large rolling suitcase and a toddler on my hip. I struggled to get all of this down the hall while yet another manager watched me do this without offering to help. At breakfast for the two mornings I was there they were out of COFFEE!!! I had to ask for more and the un-helpful manager acted irritated as he performed his job. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel again. So yes fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Oh what did they remodel it was not in good shape?!?
